The Boundary Amateur Radio Club is organized to further the enhancement and enrichment of the art and science of amateur radio communications. We also like have fun and enjoy the various uses of radio communication. Any one interested in Amateur Radio is encouraged to participate.
The club runs a 2 Meter net every Monday at 7:00 PM. The net meets on the 146.960 repeater (PL123). The club also meets the first Tuesday of the month at 06:30 PM at Mugsy's Tavern and Grill in Bonners Ferry. The monthly meetings often include a training segment and/or a project.
We maintain a wide area coverage 2 Meter repeater located on Black Mountain we also maintain an echolink node W7BFI-R that is linked to the machine. The repeater is open to all licensed Amateur Operators. We ask that you abide by the our club's operating guidelines. You can access a draft copy using this link. W7BFI Operating Guidelines.
