ARRL Ham Radio Field Day 2017 at the Refuge.

The Boundary Amateur Radio Club (BARC) will participate in the 2017 ARRL field day June 24 -25, 2017.

The event will run from 11:00 am Saturday to 2;00 PM Sunday. Field Day is an annual amateur radio exercise

encouraging emergency communications preparedness among amateur radio operators.

The public is invited to come out to the Refuge to observe and participate in our annual Field Day.

Bring family and friends and join us.

The W7BFI packet digipeater is now online and available for all to use. The frequency is 145.090 simplex, no tone.

There is the W7BFI digi, the W7BFI-1 PBBS (Packet Bulletin Board System) and the W7BFI-7 node. More information

will be made available here as it is compiled.

Club meetings are on the first Monday of each month at the Visitors Center in Bonners Ferry at 7:30pm.

Anyone interested in amateur radio is welcome. Friends and family as well.

ARES meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month at the Visitors Center in Bonners Ferry at 7:00pm.

Anyone interested in public service in amateur radio is welcome.
